There are five main types of soy sauce in Japan and Koikuchi soy sauce accounts for about 80% of the total. Compared to Koikuchi soy sauce, ‘Sekigahara Tamari’ is darker in color, but actually has less salt, yet gives 3.3 times more Umami and is 5.3 times more nutritious. Because of our longbrewing process, Tamari soy sauce has unique mellow flavor and fragrant aroma enhancing the flavor of your food.
Sekigahara Tamari is used in a wide range of cuisine, not only for Japanese cuisine such as sushi, tempura, and ramen noodles, but also for Chinese cuisine and Western cuisine. It is widely used by professional chefs.
We also offer small bottles and products for domestic use. Our Tamari soy sauce is recommended to use for sashimi, and a finishing touch for stews and stir-fries.
